Most people assume workplace friction is a performance problem. Someone not good enough, not trying hard enough. Usually, the role was designed for someone with a different wiring.

People process information differently, make decisions differently, respond to pressure differently. When a role is built around one set of behavioural filters and filled by someone with another, the friction is structural. Effort doesn't fix it.
